Manuel Peluso was born in Torino, Italy, in 1986. In his town he studied Cinema and New Media, with a special regard on their social and anthropological impact. Alongside academic history, from 2008 to 2013 he worked as assistant director and production assistant in national and international film and TV productions. From 2006 he started connecting with the Youth Empowerment Partnership Programme (YEPP), both working on a community TV in Torino, and as participant in international workshops. He’s been living across Europe and collaborated with several organizations operating in the field of video and new medias. From 2010 he started working on his own directing projects as shorts, documentaries and music videos. In 2014 he is co-founder of Miradoc, a documentary-oriented project in Torino, whose first activity was the international youth exchange “Digital Storytellig for Real RIghts”.
