Massimo Arvat was born in Torino, Italy, in 1967. He graduated in Philosophy. From 1990 to 1994 he worked at the National Museum of Cinema in Torino. In 1992 was a founding member of Zenit Audiovisual Arts. He is graduated in EAVE and Eurodoc. He is a member of the board of Eurodoc and Documentary in Europe and Aprodoc. From 1999 he worked as an independent producer specializing in creative documentaries, in collaboration with the major national and international broadcasters (RAI, FOX, ART, ZDF, DISCOVERY CHANNEL, YLE, RTBF, RSI, VPRO, SBS, CBC ...). He works as media trainer at universities, art schools and workshops professional. And he is director of videodesign course of European Institute of Design in Torino.
